From 2000 to 2006 Andrea Molino was Artistic Director of Fabrica
Musica, the music department of the Italian communication research
center
Fabrica (near Treviso,
Veneto) where he has realized projects with Heiner Goebbels, David
Moss, Koichi Makigami, Phil Minton and others.
Molino's own projects with Fabrica were
VOICES with video material by Godfrey Reggio, premiered at the RomaEuropa 2000 festival, with David Moss) and
Drops On A Hot Stone,
which was developed in collaboration with UNV United Nations Volunteers
(premiered December 2001 at the Capitol in Rome, after a preview in
Berlin).
His project
CREDO, a multimedia music theatre piece, has arisen as a result of a co-production between Fabrica, the
Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and Klangforum Wien, and opened the 2005
Queensland Biennial Festival of Music in Brisbane. His most recent multimedia music action
WINNERS, was premiered in July 2006 at the
Brisbane Festival and had its European Premiere in October 2006 at Paris (Centre Pompidou).
